I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and a B.S. in Medical Technology from Medical University of South Carolina. I went back to school to get my teacher's certificate to teach in elementary school. I moved to the United States at age 23.
I have taught for 17 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I started my teaching career in Beaumont, TX and moved to San Antonio in April 2015.
I am married with a daughter and four stepchildren. I enjoy traveling, sewing, yoga, and spending time with my husband and my dog, Cocoa.
